We loved our stay here, the house is as described as is “on the beach”. It was great to sit on the back porch if it rained or just to cool down some. The house was clean and the view from the master was fabulous. The restaurant across the street Kenny D was pretty good. Just a warning, they have karaoke on Sunday nights till 10, other than that you don’t know they are there.
Our 2 chairs and umbrella was set out each day, if you want something to lay out in you may want to bring it ( also gives you a little more space on the beach) there are no other chairs that come with the house, but they did supply beach towels.
We did not cook, but the kitchen looked to have everything needed.

This is our second year renting this property. We absolutely love it. When we arrived it was obvious that it was professional cleaned and ready for our month long stay. It is a great location - near restaurants and literally on the beach. On our first day, we were welcomed by the owner. The best part of this townhouse is the porch. We spent many hours reading and napping - very relaxing. And, of course, we were literally 25 feet to the beach.

The house was just as the photos! Beautiful views of the ocean. The property was clean and location was perfect. The beach access was awesome. It was supposed to be a private beach, but it seemed that alot of people would set up in this section. It only comes with 2 chairs and 1 umbrella. This would be my only real complaint. For a 2 bedroom condo that sleeps 10, its most likely that at least 4 people will be sharing this place and will need at least 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas. The back porch was great!

Start to finish a wonderful experience with Frangista folks. From the booking thru the finalization of the agreement to getting travel insurance was great. William called to see how we were doing and Hector was a great help also. We were very pleased that we got a text saying the unit was ready an hour early since we were in Destin early, that was great. We have stayed in the unit before so as usual it was great. the only comments I would make would be the back deck. As it stands it could really use some paint, would be awesome if this owner would follow the others and expand the deck towards the beach, other than that all was perfect!!

Quaint at an extraordinary location. The interior was clean & appliances were nice. The back deck & closed interior was a little disappointing. The gate didn’t shut & the overall presentation of that space along with the furniture was weathered. All in all we had a great stay as we spent most of our days on the beach & at all of the great restaurants near the rental. I would stay here again in hopes of an updated outside space.

We enjoyed our stay in the townhouse. Right on the beach and 4 restaurants within walking distance. Very clean and the property management was great. We had a problem with the back door knob and they had someone there that day. Very comfortable and all the cooking utensils and dishes you could need. The wood furniture on the deck was great but could use new cushions.

The house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. I don't think you can get any closer to the beach. Super location, very convenient to restaurants and shopping and the parking is excellent. Other reviews noted that because this was next to a public access and Captain Dave's restaurant that it was noisy but we did not have any problems at all. Wish this unit had more bedrooms as we usually travel with more people.

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. After 22 years this was our first time traveling without our now adult children. The scenery set the mood and we were able to reconnect in a way that our busy schedule and real life sometimes does not allow. The location steps away from the beach and the proximity of local restaurants and shopping were perfect! The home was clean, inviting and exceeded our expectations. Property management was super friendly and accommodating. We will most certainly be back with the entire family. Absolutely loved it!

Stayed here and loved it. The staff who run the condo super. As a review said before do haveto get up early to get on the beach but I think that's any beach. Only suggestion I had was an outside table and chairs would be nice for eating at. But that would just be picking . Had one local park in our spot, had to leave a noted and tell them not to anymore. Other than that it was great. View is awesome and condo is nice. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Only complaint is the public beach access is RIGHT beside the condo and this floods the beach in front of you with other guest...but the view from the porch is amazing and makes you forget about that! The condo was exactly as pictured. There were 6 adults (all female) as we were on a girls week getaway. The public beach entrance is next to the cruise no however this never took away from the experience. I recommend that you get up early (by 0800) to get your beach chairs set up as the public do s not read or pay attention to the sign that says it is private property.
Plenty of dishes for cooking however if you need a large pan to cook with, bring one.
Our nay complaint was the cots. They were made more for kids, not adults. Other than that, we loved it! Frangista properties were fantastic to deal with. Answered all questions within 12-24 hours.
Highly recommend this property or possibly other properties offered by this company.
We will definitely be doing business with them again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Location is as expected, everything is nearby. The restaurant that is right next door is not an is upscale and not noisy. Kenny D's across the street got noisy one night but it was not a problem for us. They have good food too. The place had everything we needed. I was surprised that at check out we had to wash, dry and put away the beach towels, but all other towels we just left in the tub. Seems weird, but it's ok. There were a couple older beach chairs left behind, so that was nice. We left behind a fishing pole and you can go out to the water and scoop up some sand, and get a handful of sand fleas to use as bait! The water here is choppy and pretty wavy, kids won't really be able to get in well. But the beach is great so they will have plenty to do. We plan to be back this fall!

The homeowner does provide beach towels, that is why we ask that you launder them at the home to prevent them from mixing up in our general laundry. Typically, the water is very flat and easily accessible for children but occasionally we do have larger waves and wind. It's just mother nature at work! This rental really is amazing. From the location to the furnishings to the view, everything was amazing. It was so quiet and relaxing and was awesome to be right on the beach. If you were hungry there were two great options steps away. It was close enough to Destin that the car ride wasn't far, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet Surf II #8 was in an ideal location in a neighborhood atmosphere in Miramar Beach, FL. All you have to do is walk out the front door and there are two restaurants within walking distance...both very good. In addition, there are sidewalks all along the road so there are tons of people walking, jogging, 's a hub of activity and I loved the vibe! Finally, the beach is right off your private porch which leads you directly to the white sand of the gulf and beautiful beach/ocean.
The house has a home feel and well appointed. The only suggestions would be to have a king bed with a better mattress in the master and to rid the house of the wall paper and update both bathrooms upstairs. We would definitely go back and stay at this rental.

Great Back Deck

The first floor beach deck on this condo was marvelous. Peaceful for morning coffee, wonderful for listening to waves & people watching all day, and a quiet refuge at night. The condo was beautifully decorated with an updated kitchen. The living area spacious with 2 large couches and a chair. Upstairs the two bedrooms were spacious with each having a full bath. Downstairs had a half bath in the utility closet with the washer/dryer. A lot of thought went into the furnishings and decor. We visited at the end of September & the weather was great. The management team (Frangista) did a good job keeping us informed and updated on our visit. We had one problem (ants) - I reported it to them and a specialist was sent the same morning to handle the problem. The upstairs baths do need to be renovated as they are showing their age and a lot of ware. Wallpaper was loose in the bedrooms and baths. In the well-equipped kitchen, their was only one knife left in the knife block. I would recommend this unit and this management company.

Great Condo in a Great Location

We stayed in the same condo complex before but in a different unit. This unit was much nicer in that it has a nice, bright interior and, being an end unit, the porch always has a nice breeze.
The electronic keypad locks on the front and back back doors was very nice. At the other unit it was only on the front door so if we locked the back door when we went to the beach we had to walk around to the front to get back in.
The kitchen is well appointed. We cooked several meals and had all of the utensils we needed (colander, Calphalon pans, etc.) Also, the initial supply of soaps, paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags was nice.
This unit didn't include beach chair and umbrella service but we learned early to just place two beach chairs at the water's edge in the morning. That would claim our spot for the day. There are signs stating that the beach is private but enforcement is non-existent. The shore was lined with EZ-ups and umbrellas end to end by 9AM each morning. It would be nice if the unit included an umbrella and chairs but they can be purchased at WalMart very cheaply.
We also missed that the 2nd bed room has a single queen bed and not two beds. Luckily our boys were fine with sharing a bed for the week.

Beautiful beachfront property, just steps away from the ocean! This was a very clean townhome with nice appliances and a very "homey" feel to it. The washer and dryer were full size, so we were able to get caught up with our laundry. We didn't cook, but there would have been everything we would've needed there. Very nice place to stay. We didn't have the best weather, but there was plenty to do! We hope to come back in the summertime next.

The location on the beach can't be beat and it's right next to Captain Dave's and Kenny D's, with a short walk to the Crab Trap. The property was in great shape and well stocked with kids beach toys. Frangista Properties' smartphone app check-in was really easy and someone from even called shortly after we left because they thought we left something behind. Great experience and we can't wait to go back.

quiet surf 8--the most enjoyable visit we've ever had in destin--better than the high-rises, better than those units where you have to cross some street. this was incredible. so charming, wonderful. from the moment we walked in, we felt like family members returning to a beloved, cherished old family beach home. the furnishings are refined, beautiful and new. the beds and pillows are perfect and SO comfortable. the cupboards are well-stocked with lovely quality dishes, glassware, serving pieces, cookware. everything, sparkling clean--this is no shabby rental. yada yada--the thing, the BEST thing that sets this apart from every other place we've ever stayed in destin was the rare location: right on the beach. right there. with unobstructed views from the charming covered porch AND the upper master bedroom's sun deck. we weren't side by side with other condos' decks. we weren't elbow to elbow with other beach-goers. what a find! steps away from captain dave's and kenny d's--great seafood--quiet surf was still QUIET and private. mid-april is always iffy: we had days of rain and fog, but we didn't care--we were so content to enjoy the beach, the views, the time we had together. if i could give this place ten stars out of five, i would. look at the photos: if you must have granite counters and stainless steel appliances, if you're put off by a little wallpaper, go elsewhere or stay home. this place is the real deal. it's a home. thanks so much to frangista (hector, tre, brian, claire--and owner carol)--for making this beautiful place available to those of us who don't have family homes on any beach, much less this beach, one of the prettiest in America. ps--it's snowing here in Wisconsin today. i'm thinking of destin, and can't wait to get back to quiet surf someday.

We had a wonderful holiday and absolutely loved this house. We were a short walk to several restaurants on the beach. The house came fully equipped with everything we needed. It was clean and nicely furnished. The pictures represent the actual house. Bedrooms upstairs were separated by a long hallway which was nice. I would recommend this house to friends.

We were thrilled with this location right on the beach, which was exactly what we wanted. The 2 BR and 2.5 BA was wonderfully comfortable for the 3 of us; we discussed that at least two more people could have joined us without being crowded. We are getting older, and the stairs (both inside the home and going down to the beach) were easily used with handrails. The back deck of the townhome was a favorite spot for us to watch the sunrise, sunset, and the ocean waves. The beautiful, powdery, white sand was spectacular for walking on the beach. It was not too noisy or crowded on "our" beach during our stay.
There were many restaurants and shopping areas in Destin which we enjoyed even though Captain Dave's (restaurant next door to the house) was being renovated and temporarily closed; the Oyster Trap, McQuigley's, Kenny D's, and Whale's Tail were among the close ones where we enjoyed eating. We also visited the Baytowne Wharf and the Destin Village Wharf which provided dining, live music, shopping, and children's activities.
Again, all three of us enjoyed our stay in Destin at Quiet Surf II #8 and plan on returning soon!
