Winter at the Beach

Temperatures are cooling off in the evenings and winter will be here before we know it. As much as we hate to admit it, this usually means less time at the beach. We are lucky to have mild winters around here but a lot of us just aren’t made for being outside in the cold. Does this mean we should hibernate until it’s springtime and just look through beach photos to hold us over? No way! Whale’s Tail restaurant on Old 98 has a downstairs bar area with heaters. One of the longest running of Destin restaurants, they have burgers, seafood, and great drinks available with an amazing view. When you are in the mood to watch the sun set over the Gulf after a long work week, grab a jacket and head to Whale’s Tail where you can stay warm just feet away from our famous sand. Keep this in mind when searching for Destin vacation rentals. Luxury condos and homes are within walking distance!
