The Sandestin Wine Festival Celebrates 30 Years

One of the best things about Destin is the year-round festivals and events. The Sandestin Wine Festival never disappoints and this year is sure to be another great time. For its 30th year, the festival will feature four days of tastings, seminars, and dinners with celebrity chefs. Named “the Kentucky Derby of Wine Festivals” and Destin Magazine’s “Best Annual Event”, locals and visitors will flock to the area to enjoy the fun-filled weekend. 

The event begins on Thursday, April 14th at Rum Runners with a VIP seminar from 6-7pm. Guests can enjoy a special meet and greet with Will Mercer and live music by jazz pianist Cam Ray. The grand tasting is 5-8pm on Friday and 1-5pm on Saturday in Baytowne Wharf. Hundreds of domestic and international wines will be available along with vineyard representatives from around the globe for questions.

The rest of the weekend will feature seminars, a Champagne & Seafood Voyage on the Solaris Cruise, and Brunch by the Bay on Sunday. Get your tickets early to enjoy the much anticipated event. Destin condo rentals are available for overnight accommodations to be in town for the entire festival.
