The Big Red Food Truck

Did you know Destin has food trucks? Seaside area and Seagrove Beach are known to have gourmet food trucks and vintage Airstreams providing everything from shaved ice to grilled cheese sandwiches to organic smoothies. We have a few in our own area as well. You have probably noticed The Big Red Truck around town by now. We recently stopped by the Calhoun Avenue location by the Destin Harbor and picked up some tacos for lunch. Along with excellent service, you get an amazing view of the Bay and the benefit of a peaceful lunch break. It’s hard to say what was best, so we suggest the taco trio. You can have one of each of the delicious options available: BBQ pork, Asian chicken, and fish (from Harbor Docks) tacos. Owner Casey Jones has his truck out every Monday through Friday and even does catering and some delivery. Sometimes we all need to just get away from the office and have amazing food while enjoying the beauty of Destin Florida.
