The 30A Songwriters Festival is Back with Top Musicians
The 8th Annual 30A Songwriters Festival will be filling the streets of South Walton in January. The much anticipated event will be held January 13th-16th and feature some of the country’s top singer/songwriters. Among the 175 on the schedule to perform are Emerson Hart of Tonic, Parker Millsap, Drivin N Cryin, Shawn Mullins, and John Prine.
For their first time at the festival, Cheap Trick will be headlining on Saturday afternoon. Cheap Trick was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and is sure to be a highlight of the festival. Shawn Colvin will be performing on Sunday and was just awarded the Lifetime Achievement Trailblazer Award at the 2016 Americana Awards.
While the music is sure to be heard in many areas, select venues will be hosting musicians around Destin, Florida to Seaside including Grand Boulevard, 30Avenue, Old Florida Fish House, Caliza, and new this year: Gulf Place. NPR’s Fold Alley will be onsite during the festival filming and interviewing artists which will be aired on their radio show and website throughout the year.
Standard weekend passes will be available as well as VIP passes with premium seating and food & drinks.
