The fun doesn’t end there! Baytowne parties all through summer with exciting events such as: Mini Gras and Boomin Tuesdays. An evening of fun with special children’s activities throughout the events plaza. Each week, the Village will crown a king and queen to throw moon pies and candy to the crowd. An amazing fireworks show over the lagoon will end the night with a bang. Listen to talented musicians as they belt out your favorite tunes at the Wednesday Night Concert Series. This outdoor concert is held every Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. Every Thursday night, from 8 to 10 pm, your favorite family movies are presented under the stars at Sunset Cinema.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf turns up the heat with exciting nightlife all summer long. John Wehner’s Village Door is Baytowne’s sizzling Nightclub where live music and drink specials are served to a crowd 21 and over. Rum Runners high energy dueling piano players will lure the crowd with hits from the 50’s to today. Rum Runners is also home to Baytowne’s only upstairs sports bar. A perfect “happy hour” hangout overlooking the events plaza. One of the most popular Destin nightclubs is The Funky Blues Shack, with the best live, local, regional, and national blues performers.

Destin Commons will cool you down this summer with their outdoor interactive pop-up fountain that dances on command, along with their nautically themed playground for the little ones. Kid’s of all ages won’t want to miss an exciting series of movies at Rave Motion Pictures. Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:00 am kid’s can take a break from the sun and take in a free flick! Of course parents, Destin Commons has something for you too.
