Rollin Smoke BBQ Opens in Destin Commons

We are always happy to get new great restaurants in the Destin Commons and a barbecue place was just what we needed. Aaron and Ruthann Vipperman recently moved their food truck business "Rollin Smoke BBQ"  into a new location in the Commons. The popular restaurant features fresh barbecue pork, chicken, beef and sausage each day of the week. Vipperman has eight years of experience in smoking meats and his smoking style is fully wood based. He uses a pit-style barbecue with a gravity-fed pit to get a real classic taste. 

The restaurant is located near the Commons fountains in the old Zoe’s Kitchen location. On Tuesday, September 22nd from 4-6pm will be the official ribbon cutting ceremony. Guests can enjoy complimentary food and drinks, face painting, and giveaways.

The Commons is a premier open-air shopping center convenient to Destin vacation rentals with a little of everything. The mall features a 14-screen theatre, bowling at Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl & Grill, Bass Pro Shop, tons of boutiques and upscale shopping, and a playground and water park for kids. Which Wich and Smashburger opened earlier this summer making now 15 restaurants in the Destin Commons.
