New Yogurt Shop Opening in Destin Commons

Cincinnati-based yogurt shop Yagoot is scheduled to have its grand opening on June 30th. The official ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 4pm with free samples for visitors. This is the first to open in Florida and will be setting up right next to Chipotle in the Commons shopping mall.

In recent years, Destin has got its share of yogurt shops but this is a new type for the area. Owner Hanna Hawkins says, “At 120 calories per serving, our yogurts contain no high fructose corn syrup, are 99% fat free, 100% gluten free, certified Kosher and made in a dairy, not a mass production factory.” Along with healthy options, Wagoots dog treats are available full of calcium and protein for your four legged friends.  

All across the Emerald Coast from the Destin Harbor to 30-A, new shops are opening up to give us a little of everything. Cafes, upscale restaurants, boutiques, and dessert shops are all popping up and we look forward to what will show up next. These, along with top beaches and great weather, are what make people keep coming back to the Gulf Coast over and over.
