New Year’s Eve on the Emerald Coast

As Christmas comes and goes, residents and visitors to Destin, Florida will be looking for a good spot to ring in the new year. HarborWalk Village will have three live bands performing as well as the 8th Annual Ball Drop over the Harbor. Live music starts at 6pm with Flash Flood, followed by 8 Second Ride and Phillip Lee Jr. There will be two firework shows, first at 8pm and again at midnight.  

Baytowne Wharf will have 3 live cover bands for the evening beginning at 7pm with Fleetwood Dreams. Alter Eagles and Almost Styx will also perform followed by fireworks at midnight. Marlin Grill will have two seating times with a 4 course meal at 6pm and 9pm.

Bric a Brac will have Jones & Company performing live from 9pm to 1am. Along with music and dancing, the night will include dinner, dessert, champagne, balloons and more to ring in the new year.

There will be a Seaside New Year’s Eve Countdown at the Seaside amphitheater. Beginning at 6pm, activities will include street performers, fun for kids, and more fireworks.  

When you are too tired the next day to make breakfast, select restaurants will be providing special New Year’s brunch. Destin and 30A rentals are available for overnight accommodations.
