New Year’s Celebrations

Where will you be on New Year’s Eve? There are plenty of fun events to take part in from the Destin Harbor to Seagrove Beach. At HarborWalk Village, the Street Party Countdown begins at 7pm. This free event will include live music by Departure and a Journey Tribute Band. Fireworks will light up the sky in two shows at 8pm and the 7th annual Ball Drop is at midnight.

In the heart of Destin Florida, the new year will be celebrated in the Village of Baytowne Wharf. At 7pm, the year-end celebration will include a night of dancing and live entertainment. The bands scheduled to perform are Fleetwood Dreams, Alter Eagles, and Almost Styx. The night will end with a fireworks display over the lagoon.

Seaside will welcome two bands from Tennessee to entertain for the evening. The Dirty Guv’nahs and MamaDear will play at the Seaside Amphitheater beginning at 8pm. There will also be children’s activities available making it an evening for the whole family to enjoy. The celebration finale will be at midnight with more fireworks. We can all ring in 2015 watching the colorful sky across the Emerald Coast.
