March Madness in Destin

Temperatures are heating up and as spring breaks start, there will be plenty of fun events across the Emerald Coast. We don’t want you to miss anything! Here are some much anticipated activities to mark on your calendar:

The 4th Annual Tequila and Taco Festival takes place this Saturday, March 11th. Join the fiesta on the Destin Harbor with an afternoon of tequila tastings, live music, and tacos of all kinds! The festival will be from 1pm to 5pm at HarborWalk Village.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a “Grogg March” through HarborWalk Village on March 17th. Enjoy live Irish music and exclusive specials at a number of the village restaurants including Margaritaville, Jackacudas, and Crab Island Cantina. Proceeds from the march will benefit Emerald Coast Fitness Foundation.

Destin, Florida is very dog-friendly and on March 18th, you can bring your furry best friend to the 17th Annual Run with the Dogs 5K. The race begins and ends at the Destin City Hall Annex with awards given at the finale. 

If you’ll be in the 30A area this weekend, the 30A Wine Festival will be taking place in Alys Beach. Weekend passes are sold out but there are still available tickets for Friday’s events: Sip n Slide and Bourbon, Beer & Butts.
