Growler Garage is Open and Bustling

The Emerald Coast is getting quite the selection of locations for craft beer in recent months. Destin embraced World of Beer and The Craft Bar and it doesn’t seem like the trend is slowing down. Growler Garage 30A opened at the beginning of summer and has been steadily busy ever since. Combining a love of bikes and custom paint jobs with the art of craft beer, owner Mitch Omar fulfilled a lifelong dream in opening the popular spot in Gulf Place. He always wanted to open up shop near the beach and now has the ideal location right across the street from the beaches of South Walton. 

Omar is also the owner of O’s Custom Paints in Bartlett, Tennessee where they specialize in custom painting of motorcycles. Growler Garage 30A is set up with some of their custom-built and painted bikes, surfboards and more, giving it a unique atmosphere. Growler Garage apparel is also available for purchase in the shop. 

Over 40 different craft beers are available on tap, ice cold and ready to go. The Growler idea is to grab your choice container and take your favorite beer home (or to the beach). Tables are set up outside as well if you want to stick around. The store is located in Gulf Place on 30A, convenient to many 30A rentals and our famous white sand beaches.
