Foodies Fall Favorites Along the Emerald Coast
Fall is one of our favorite seasons along the Emerald Coast. The powder white sand sees fewer footprints, yet the emerald green waters are still warm enough for a dip. The traffic has died down along with the lines to some of our favorite restaurants. Here’s a look at some of our favorite fall foods and what restaurants are serving them along the Emerald Coast!
The beaches of South Walton love its seafood. With so many delicious restaurants and dishes to choose from our fall favorite is served at Cuvee 30A. Chef Creehan is famous for his Black Peppered Crusted Yellowfin Tuna, seared rare with Braised Spinach and Soy Ginger Sauce. Add a side Caesar Salad with Eggplant and Parmesan Croutons to create a delicious fall meal on 30A.
One of our favorite things to do on a fall day is sit outside, sip on fine wine and watch people stroll by with their shopping bags. Vin’tij in Miramar Beach, at Grand Boulevard is the perfect place to do this! Not only do they have an extensive wine list, they have a delicious variety of foods. From Grilled Rib-Eye to Shrimp & Scallop Linguini as well as small bites such as Fried Calamari and Short Rib Poutine. Enjoy fresh air and fall food at this Miramar Beach, Florida favorite.
We love the quaint and cozy vibe of The Wine Bar in Destin, Florida. Dim lights in a small room create an intimate setting. An extensive wine list as well as small plates, entrees and a great selection of cheeses from the cheese shop can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner. Nothing says fall like a fresh warm rustic baguette served with aged gouda, creamy brie and olives!
Fall and Alfredo go hand in hand. Nothing hits the spot like a warm plate of pasta on a cool fall day. Mimmo’s Pizzeria & Restaurant is our choice for the best Italian food along the Emerald Coast. Scrumptious pasta dishes with red and white sauce options as well as Ravioli, Bolognese, Manicotti, Lasagna and Chicken Parmigiana can be enjoyed with a glass of Chianti. Warm garlic rolls and specialty Martini’s makes this authentic restaurant across from the Destin Harbor a fall foodies favorite!
Fall sunsets are some of the best and you can catch it at The Oyster Bar in Perdido Key. Dine on the Intracoastal Waterway enjoying delicious Royal Reds, Firecracker Shrimp and fresh oysters raw or grilled. There’s no better way to enjoy fall then catching the warm colors of the sun setting against the water, while sipping on a cocktail, taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Emerald Coast!
