Fodor’s Names the Florida Panhandle on 2015 Go List

Fodor’s released their top 25 can’t-miss travel spots and the Florida Panhandle is #5! This coveted list also includes Norway, Barbados, Singapore, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Fodor’s says the soft quartz beaches are more beautiful than what is found on most Caribbean islands and undoubtedly among the best in the United States.  

Across the Emerald Coast, the beaches are the biggest attraction but there is much more to enjoy. Championship golf courses, premium shopping malls, fishing, and upscale dining are all part of the allure. Fresh seafood is at the top of the list for every visitor to Destin, “the world’s luckiest fishing village”. The Destin Commons outdoor mall and Silver Sands Premium Outlet Mall are among the many shopping options available that attract people nationwide.  

Down the road is the charming beach community of Seaside in the 30A area that brings in many to enjoy the architecture, quiet beaches, and variety of restaurants and galleries. Red Bar and Vue on 30A are widely known and visited for great food and atmospheres.  

The Florida Panhandle is getting more attention than ever in recent years making it a top vacation destination. From miles of sugar-white sand and ideal shopping and dining, it’s no wonder Fodor’s recognized it for their newest travel list.
