Festival of Trees
One of the best parts about the holiday season is the decorations. Families love to decorate with twinkling lights, ribbons, garlands, ornaments, and everything else they’ve had in storage all year. In Grand Boulevard starting November 25th, there will be a Festival of Trees displayed at the Grand Park. 12 decorated trees from non-profit organizations in Destin, Florida will be competing to win prizes including Best in Show and People’s Choice. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite on the 25th and the festive trees will stay on display for the entire month of December.
Down the road in Rosemary Beach, the Old Town Holiday Tree Lighting will take place on November 28th. From 6-8pm, visitors can enjoy live music by the Charles Dickens Carolers and the Village Brass Band. Santa Claus will be a special guest for the evening and a carriage ride will take families throughout the town. Overnight accommodations are available at nearby Seagrove rentals and the 30A area for those that would like to stay for the full holiday weekend.
