Destin’s Own Craft Bar
We love to see new restaurants in Destin, Florida. The Craft Bar opened early this summer next to Wine World by Destin Commons. Called a Florida Gastropub, it specializes in handcrafted beer, wine, and food with fresh local ingredients. The first of its kind on the Emerald Coast, the restaurant has been a popular spot with regular business. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and the décor is one of a kind with a 100 year old reclaimed cypress from the Chattahoochee River for the bar and tables.
30 sourced craft beers are on tap and a large selection of craft bottle beers are available. If beer isn’t your preference, try an Old Fashioned or the Mezcal Mule. The menu boasts fish tacos, southern fried chicken, a three pig skillet, as well as banana pudding and cobbler for dessert, among many others. Tons of options to explore but a known favorite is the Triple Slider Plate with a mini craft bar burger, BBQ pork, and Conecuh sausage.
The Craft Bar stays open each day until 12am with the exception of Sunday when brunch is available from 11am-4pm only. Another location will open in Panama City Beach’s Pier Park later this year. For more restaurants with exceptional beer selections, try Island Wing Company in Destin or Shades in the 30A area. They have over 46 beers on tap and a great menu and atmosphere. We love to see Destin grow!
