Destin Desserts

Destin Desserts is a local competition presented by Girl Scouts of the Florida Panhandle that will be celebrating its 5th year this month. On January 22nd at the Palms of Destin Resort, local chefs will create unique desserts to compete for Destin Desserts Champion. Doors will open at 6am with the event starting at 7pm. A silent auction will provide an opportunity to bid on products and services donated from local businesses. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Girl Scouts’ Camp Kolomoki in Walton County. The camp had fallen into disrepair due to heavy rains and inclement weather and funds raised will go towards repairs. Along with an array of desserts, guests can also enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while Shades of Blue provides live entertainment. Everyone loves Girl Scout cookies! Join the event in Destin, Florida and enjoy original dessert creations featuring these cookies and an evening of fun. Overnight accommodations are available at nearby vacation rentals with prime Gulf views and choice amenities.
