Celebrate Destin Whole Foods Market Turning One in April

It’s been a year since Whole Foods Market opened in Destin, Florida and can we imagine our lives without it? This was the first to open in the Florida panhandle and boasts everything from fresh, organic produce and high quality meats to an extensive wine selection and over 40 varieties of heavenly baked goods. To celebrate its one year anniversary, we can enjoy festivities all month long! 

The fun begins this Monday, April 10th with a Wine and Cheese 101 at 6:30pm where guests can sample some of their best wine and cheeses on the Whole Foods patio. The next night will be Sips n’ Strokes, a fun evening of painting your own creation while enjoying fine wine. The next week on April 18th at 7pm will be Trivia night with snacks and brews provided by Lucky Catch Bar & Bites. Jeff Cichoki, lead winemaker for Bonterra, will be onsite Thursday evening for a Bonterra Bottle Signing. Bonterra won American Winery of the Year for 2016! The official anniversary party will be Saturday, April 22nd from 4-7pm with live music and a tap take over. The final event is April 26th, a Family Game Night starting at 5pm where everyone can play games on the patio and enjoy food and drink specials. Along with an exciting schedule for the month, be on the lookout for anniversary sales during the week of April 20th. 

Whole Foods Market joined the more than 90 stores and restaurants of the Destin Commons, the Emerald Coast’s premier open air shopping center. The popular mall is located in a prime location near Destin condos and minutes away from the beautiful beaches of Northwest Florida. We’re excited for the April lineup at Whole Foods but you’ll see us there beyond that for groceries, lunch, dinner, coffee – you name it!
