Black Friday is Near

The biggest shopping day of the year is almost among us. People start planning for Black Friday months in advance. It is possibly even more anticipated than Thanksgiving itself. Where will you be on that fateful day? Destin Florida is a top shopping destination for plenty of reasons. Along with premium outlet malls, there are tons of boutiques, antique malls, beach stores, and much more to help find the perfect gift for the holidays.  

Silver Sands outlet mall is a nationwide attraction with 110 premium stores. The shopping center will open at 6pm on Thanksgiving Day to kick off the weekend of shopping frenzy. Friday and Saturday hours will extend until 10pm.

The Destin Commons boasts over 90 stores and was voted “The Best Place to Shop” by readers of Emerald Coast Magazine. The plaza recently expanded with a new section including H&M, Charming Charlie’s, and Tervis Tumbler. The Commons will be closed on Thanksgiving Day with the exception of Belk (opened in the evening) and Bass Pro Shop (open until 6pm). On Friday, stores will open from 7am-10pm. Destin condo rentals are available nearby for those that plan to stay for the entire holiday weekend.  

If you aren’t into crowds, shop online from the comfort of your home. Most of the deals you would get in store will be available on their websites as well. And there’s always Cyber Monday!
