Annual Seaside Wine Festival Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Along with breathtaking views, Destin, Florida and the Emerald Coast are popular for fun festivals with each coming season. This fall will not disappoint with the highly anticipated Seeing Red Wine Festival. Fodor’s Travel named the annual event in the “Top 10 Can’t-Miss Fall Wine Festivals” and it looks like many agree since festival tickets sell fast. This year’s dates are November 5th-8th in the charming town of Seaside.  

The 25th anniversary event will bring tastings, live music, and special menus prepared by local chefs. Thursday evening will be the Vintner’s Dinner at Bud & Alley’s to kick-off the festival. Highly allocated and reserve wines will be showcased at the Al Fresco Reserve Tasting on Friday from 6-8pm. The Grand Tasting includes over 250 wines available for sampling from 1-4pm on Saturday. The festival concludes on Sunday with a Celebration of Bubbles at Great Southern Café and the Fall Walkabout and Charity Auction. 

Seaside and Destin vacation rentals are available nearby to take advantage of the full lineup of festivities. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation helping children in need in Northwest Florida.
