An Ocean of Art

Destin Festival of the Arts is approaching once again and judging from the previous 16 years it will not be a disappointment. On October 27th and 28th, Henderson State Park turns into an artist's paradise complete with a sugar-white sand beach and emerald-green ocean backdrop.

The Destin Festival of the Arts is an event I look forward to every year! With over 100 talented artists from around the United States there is always a new piece that catches my eye and completes my living room. The festival is open to every type of art including sculptures, wood carving, metal, and Jewelry. Maybe this year I will walk away with something that looks good on my wrist instead of my wall.

Along with live music from talented musicians there will be local restaurants serving some of Destin’s favorite dishes. It’s an event for the whole family. Enjoy a day full of art at Henderson State Park!
