Allegiant Air Adds New Direct Routes to Destin

Fast-growing Allegiant Air gave us good news this week and your summer vacation plans just got better! They unveiled three new cities and 22 new routes in one of its biggest single expansion announcements ever. Among these new cities are Orlando-Sanford, Jacksonville, and Destin-Fort Walton Beach. Seasonal non-stop routes to Destin from Fort Lauderdale, Knoxville, TN, Memphis, TN, and Oklahoma City will begin towards the end of May. To celebrate the launch of the new service, Allegiant will offer introductory fares starting at $39 on select flights. If the flights do well, the vice president of network and pricing for Allegiant says the airline could add more flights in 2017 or add destinations.
