38th Annual Seafood Festival Comes to the Harbor
One of the big attractions to the Emerald Coast is fresh seafood. With a number of great restaurants and seafood markets on Highway 98 and
30A, the beach area provides easy access to satisfy that craving. The Destin Seafood Festival is a much anticipated event held each year along the
Destin Harbor Boardwalk. For its 38th year, the big event will host 140 arts and crafts vendors and about 30 food vendors. Over 70,000 visitors are expected to attend which provides a significant boost to the local economy. Local restaurants will set up along the boardwalk September 30th through October 2nd for a fun weekend of delicious treats, music, and games. New to this year’s festival will be a “local’s tent” featuring local products like jewelry and honey. Live music will be enjoyed over 4 different stages each day. There will also be 3 separate Kids Zones that provide fun for children such as a petting zoo, hamster balls, a zipline, and the popular mingo toss. The event is free of admission but donations will be accepted in select areas.
