30A Songwriter Radio and Coffee

There are many options around Destin and South Walton for a caffeine fix but sometimes you want more than just a cup of coffee. You may have noticed the “Music & Coffee” shop next to the South Walton Publix grocery store. Curiosity got to us and we had to get the scoop. It turns out the little coffee shop is actually the 30A Songwriter Radio headquarters. On top of that, they serve food and drinks while offering live music and art nights. The coffee selection is great and affordable, sandwiches are delicious and they even have options for those with food allergies. Locally baked pastries are available as well as beer and wine. Nitro Coffee is one of their featured items: Cold brewed craft draft nitrogen infused coffee. Service was friendly and timely, even with a packed house. There are board games to play and art to admire while you wait or listen to in-house performers. They also carry vintage vinyl records, record players, and local artsy products. They provide a full line-up of events from Bluegrass Nights and House Concerts to Open Mic and Art Nights. Next time you are in the 30A area or driving through South Walton, stop in and check it out. Enjoy a Nitro Coffee or sit back and listen to local tunes.
